At Athens Health, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support for opioid addiction treatment.
On the following page, you will be guided to our patient portal and asked to provide information regarding your medical history. Please be as complete as possible. Of course, your provider will be going over this information with you during your appointment as well.
We will be asking you for your credit card information as a part of the enrollment process. If you choose our self-pay monthly subscription offer, you will be charged 48 hours before your first appointment. If your appointment is in less than 48 hours, you will be charged immediately. This allows time to make sure payment has gone through, or see if any arrangements need to be made to help you pay for treatment.
If you have insurance, your credit card information will still be required to ensure payment of any applicable copays which we are required to collect. A member of our care coordination team will contact you after we have validated your insurance benefits.
Once your payment information has been collected, or your insurance has been validated, you will be able to schedule your first appointment with us online, or through a member of our care coordination staff. You can expect to see your provider several times a month in the beginning. Your response to treatment will guide how often you continue to see your provider. As always, a member of the Athens Health care coordination team is always within reach.
We know the first steps in recovery from Opioid Use Disorder can be scary. Whether you have attempted treatment before or not, there is always a degree of uncertainty. It’s ok to be scared.
