Meet our founder

Dr. Puchi started Athens Health to bridge the physical, financial, and social gaps that keep patients from seeking help. As a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Puchi has worked on the front lines all over the country, and has seen far too many people die from what is a treatable chronic medical condition.

“I believe in second chances, and not giving up on anyone who truly wants to seek a better life. A life of addiction is a difficult one. The barriers to treatment put up walls around people who are already in their own prison. I am hoping that we can help knock those walls down, and hand our patients the keys to let themselves out.”
